WWE SummerSlam 2016: JeriKO vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass full match preview

Tag match

A weird segment where two men tried to grab some heat from female wrestlers has lead to the greatest tag team of all-time. Enzo & Cass will also be in the match.

The Road to SummerSlam

The SmackTalker Skywalker and his seven-foot friend have been popping crowds all across the WWE Universe since they arrived on the main roster after WrestleMania. Their only major setback was a concussion Enzo Amore suffered during their first pay-per-view (PPV) match - and that even served to give Big Cass a chance to connect to audiences without his hyperactive friend taking up the spotlight.

Of course, they haven’t captured the titles, but that’s almost besides the point with Zo & Cass - at least it has been since NXT. Now, thanks to Amore macking on the Women’s champ, they have a pretty high-profile feud at the biggest party of the Summer.

Now, the exciting part here, Brian, is the guys they’re facing.

Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens teamed up briefly earlier this year. Things seemed to be going well - KO called Jericho the G.O.A.T., Y2J called him the donkey - but as is often the case with two highly competitive a-holes, er, I mean, Canadians, their individual goals got in the way, and they fought over opportunities to challenge for the WWE title.

After a humbling side-trip to finish his feud with Sami Zayn (for now), the Prizefighter was looking for a fight. Already tired of Zo’s mouth, he watched as Jericho & Charlotte fought in the first mixed tag of the "new era" against Sasha Banks & Amore.

When Cass got involved, and it became clear Jimin Marvinluder wouldn’t be coming to Chris’ aid, Jeri-KO reformed once more!

What's at stake?

Well, Nathaniel, the legacy of Jeri-KO is clearly intact regardless. If those stupid idiots from New York and New Jersey get lucky, Y2J and Big Kev will still be known as the toughest guys East of Winnipeg.

Or, you know, Owens and Jericho will end up turning on one another while the Realest Guys get positioned for a fight against another heel team - maybe one holding gold (and a Doctorate in Ball Injuries).

Whatever happens, it won’t be SAWFT (howudoin).
