Zack Ryder on the Hype Bros: We’re here to win tag team gold

WWE.com

During an interview with PW Insider, Zack Ryder talked about his pairing up with Mojo Rawley to form the Hype Bros:

“The whole deal with Mojo was crazy. It was an opportunity that was thrown into my lap. I always try to make the best of things - in WWE and in life. The Hype Bros, hey. I never really wanted to be a tag team guy, but hey, let's give it my best shot and look at all the opportunities it led to. It led to WrestleMania and now the Hype Bros are on SmackDown and were here to dominate. We're not here to be just another team on the roster. We're there for one reason and that's to win Tag Team gold. “

There’s just one problem with that: SmackDown Live doesn’t currently have tag team gold. While Daniel Bryan, the current General Manager of the show, has stated tag titles will be introduced, no time frame for such a move has even been hinted at.

Backlash, the first SmackDown Live exclusive WWE Network special on Sept. 11, 2016, in Richmond, Virginia, would seem the logical place to introduce both the tag and women’s titles to the blue brand. Perhaps the recently announced 6-team tag match announced for SummerSlam can provide the participants.

But would the Hype Bros be one of them? Would you even want that?

Woo woo woo, let us know it.
