On the same day her boyfriend, Alberto Del Rio, was suspended for 30 days for a Wellness Policy violation, it was announced by WWE that Paige will also sit out the same length of time for a violation of her own.
WWE has suspended Saraya-Jade Bevis (Paige) for 30 days effective tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 18, for her first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.
It’s worth noting that today is her birthday.
No word on what exactly caused either suspension beyond a violation of the policy but as noted in the Del Rio post here, there have been rumors swirling of issues within the company stemming from the very public nature of their relationship for a number of weeks now. For her part, Paige hasn’t been on television in recent weeks while she’s been out rehabbing various injuries.
