Damien Sandow says ‘TNA just seemed like the perfect spot for me’

There’s officially no surprise now, as with an interview published by Rolling Stone a short time ago, Damien Sandow is definitely signed to TNA and appearing on the “live” Impact Wrestling tonight (Aug. 11).

The Intellectual Savior of the Masses revealed why he signed with TNA, and put over the company responsible for hot angles like #FinalDeletion:

TNA just seemed like the perfect spot for me. They are a growing company with a proven track record. I really believe that they have their finger on the pulse of what the audience wants, and they will gear their product towards that.

It’s that approach by TNA Creative, along with promises that Sandow will be allowed to similarly innovate, which lead him to sign a deal - when he says he really had no plans to ink a contract with a company:

I really was not planning on signing with anybody this soon, I was serious about that. But the way the conversations went with several TNA officials, and the strong feeling of a family atmosphere, really made me want to explore the possibility of getting in the ring sooner than I expected.

I am just looking forward to showcasing myself in a way that I have not been in the past. There is so much talent at TNA that I just can’t name one person that I really want to face over another. It’s just a pleasure for me to have creative freedom and continue to work with talented supportive people.

We’ll start to see this new way of showcasing Sandow - if he’s able to continue using that name (he went by Aaron Stevens in recent independent dates) - beginning this evening on Pop TV.
