Will Ospreay’s Ring of Honor debut set for November United Kingdom tour

Heath Slater is playing the hottest free agent on the market (and may yet show up in independent promotions like Evolve as part of the gimmick). There are a few names working WWE Network’s Cruiserweight Classic (CWC) that Triple H would love to lock up but who are reportedly keeping their options open.

But Will Ospreay is probably the real fish everyone is trying to land. So much so that despite his reportedly being under contract to New Japan, companies are still enlisting major names like Paul Heyman to make very public offers to the British aerialist.

Ring of Honor (ROH) is using their New Japan connections to reel in the 23 year old. The Sinclair Broadcasting-owed company announced earlier that he’ll be making his debut for them during their “Reach for the Sky” tour of the United Kingdom.

The tour, which will also feature Jay Lethal, the Briscoes, Dalton Castle and other ROH stars, is set to run for three days. No word yet on who he’ll be facing, but Ospreay is appearing on the first and last shows:

Friday, Nov. 18 – Liverpool Olympia
Saturday, Nov. 19 – Leicester Community Sports Arena
Sunday, Nov. 20 – Seymour Leisure Centre, London

The Aerial Assassin has been cutting back on independent dates (due to the wear-and-tear his style has put on his still-young frame), instead focusing on high profile gigs which really advance his career.

For now, it looks like those will remain with New Japan and their partner promotion, ROH.

Excited? Anyone gonna make any of these UK shows?
