Brock Lesnar is a star attraction, and star attractions do not come cheap. It wasn’t known before now, however, just how much the Ultimate Fighting Championship had to pay him for his return at UFC 200 tonight (Sat., July 9, 2016) in Paradise, Nevada for his fight against Mark Hunt.
Now we know, and it’s a LOT.
Brock Lesnar's purse tonight is $2.5 million

It should be noted that number is his base salary and does not include any bonuses or pay-per-view points. By the time all is said and done, he could very well bring home triple that amount, and maybe even more.
For comparison’s sake, here are the purses for other fighters on the card:
Other purses: Hunt 700k, Tate 500k, Aldo 400k, Spider Silva 600k, Cain 300k, Travis 120k, Edgar 190k, Nunes 100k

Brock Lesnar is kind of a big deal.
