Depending on how you look at it, either TNA’s demise continues to be greatly exaggerated, or Impact Wrestling is still making like their biggest star, Matt Hardy, and never dying, because the company officially announced their next round of tapings for August.
It’s a long stretch, too - six shows in seven days from Thursday, August 11 through Wednesday the 17th (with only Monday, August 15 off) - and probably includes a One Night Only pay-per-view (PPV) taping in addition to several episodes of their now-on-Thursdays Pop TV series and the online/international Xplosion.
Individual nights for the shows at Universal Studios backlot (aka The Impact Zone) are complementary, as usual. You can buy tickets to all six nights, along with some other VIP goodies like nightly meet-and-greets with talent, for $109 here.
This taping should take them much of the way to October’s Bound for Glory PPV.
Expect reports of financial gymastics being required to make the shows happen in 3... 2... 1...
