Dolph Ziggler becomes number one contender for the WWE title

On SmackDown show that happened tonight (July 26, 2016), it was announced at the start of the show that the winner of a main event Six Pack Challenge would go onto to face Dean Ambrose for the WWE title at SummerSlam.

The match contained John Cena, Bray Wyatt, AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, Apollo Crews, and Baron Corbin. The match had a good amount of Corbin vs. Crews in the early goings. Things then broke down mid match when the referee was taken out by Bray Wyatt and a bunch of men started to hit their respective moves on each other. After AJ Styles hit a Phenomenal Forearm on John Cena, Dolph Ziggler hit Styles with a superkick to get the 1-2-3 on the former NJPW heavyweight champion.

In a move that likely no one predicted, Dolph Ziggler will go onto SummerSlam to face Dean Ambrose for the WWE championship. Dolph Ziggler has been a two time World Heavyweight champion and will now look to win the WWE title for the first time.
