TNA Impact ratings (July 21, 2016): Numbers see a slight bump on a new night

Impact Wrestling YouTube

Despite moving to a new night and time, something that is often associated with at least a transient drop in ratings, TNA’s numbers this week increased slightly. They pulled in 362K viewers last night, which is slightly up from the 358K viewers last week. While it’s not Final Deletion numbers, it is impressive given the change in night.

Perhaps it is because wrestling fans are already ready to watch wrestling in the 8-10 pm slot on Thursdays where SmackDown sat for this year. TNA also advertised a title vs title rematch from last week and people could have been interested in what was next for the debuting Moose.

With nothing as big advertised for next week asides from the second round of the Bound for Glory playoffs, we’ll see if they can keep the number on their new night.

Here are the numbers from the last month:

  • July 12: 358K
  • July 5: 410K
  • June 28: 322K
  • June 21: 304K
