With next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw coming on the Fourth of July holiday, it’s expected to draw one of the lowest ratings in the history of the show. It could draw the lowest depending on how interested fans are in what WWE has announced for the show so far.
During SmackDown this past week, it was revealed Titus O’Neil would challenge Rusev for the United States championship. Now, two more matches have been announced. First, WWE Champion Dean Ambrose will take on Intercontinental Champion The Miz in a non-title match. There will also be a 16-man elimination tag team match pitting Team U.S.A. against Team World.
No participants have been announced for either team so far.
What’s more, WWE is teasing that yet another former SmackDown General Manager will appear to lobby for the job once the show goes live on July 19.
Is all that enough to get you to skip fireworks in favor of Raw?
