This isn’t terribly surprising (and was pointed out by some eagle-eyed fans who peeped the card for tonight’s show in Worcester, Massachusetts in advance), but it looks like we’re getting a rematch of Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE title tonight on SmackDown’s live Tuesday premiere.
BREAKING NEWS: @ShaneMcMahon makes @WWE Championship rematch for tonight's #SmackDownLive on @USA_Network!https://t.co/m62CLrAwQl

This, of course, spins out of last night’s controversial main event which saw Raw go off the air with Stephanie McMahon proclaiming Seth Rollins the WWE champ before an unannounced overrun on WWE Network (and subsequent online updates) reversed that decision when the referee ruled the bout a draw.
Tonight’s other main attraction is the draft for the roster split, and Raw Commissioner Steph’s parting shot to her brother, SmackDown Commissioner Shane, in the above video indicates the match will take place before the first pick? Or that she’s taking the WWE champ, even if it’s Ambrose, who she considers a disgrace?
Or something?
It’s a ‘new era’!
