Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- Even before news broke that Brock Lesnar had failed a drug test in the lead up to UFC 200, neither he nor Paul Heyman were scheduled for the WWE draft show.
- Speaking of the draft, WWE is apparently going to be filming scenes for a potential documentary that will air as a special on the Network.
- According to Dave Meltzer, UFC 200 likely did between 1.1-1.2 million buys on pay-per-view.
- Absent whatever happens with Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton may be working with AJ Styles as his first big feud back.
- According to the Observer, WWE is talking about doing "more enhancement matches on television using locals."
