Rumor Roundup (July 16, 2016): Brock Lesnar, WWE draft special, UFC 200 PPV buys, Randy Orton, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Even before news broke that Brock Lesnar had failed a drug test in the lead up to UFC 200, neither he nor Paul Heyman were scheduled for the WWE draft show.
  • Speaking of the draft, WWE is apparently going to be filming scenes for a potential documentary that will air as a special on the Network.
  • According to Dave Meltzer, UFC 200 likely did between 1.1-1.2 million buys on pay-per-view.
  • Absent whatever happens with Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton may be working with AJ Styles as his first big feud back.
  • According to the Observer, WWE is talking about doing "more enhancement matches on television using locals."

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
