Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The Observer notes "some major names may have been juggled in recent weeks" in regards to the WWE Draft.
  • Because of the draft, WWE is treating Battleground like a lead-in for SummerSlam, meaning not to expect anything major as it's all being saved for the next big PPV event.
  • Dave Meltzer noted recently that the plan after the WWE brand split is to have Raw stars appear on Superstars and SmackDown stars appear on Main Event.
  • According to the Observer, there have been some talks between Ring of Honor and Cody Rhodes and he may show up in the promotion at some point.
  • TNA may have to change its date for Bound for Glory due to a conflict with WWE running a show on the date they had planned.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
