Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • According to the Observer, Brock Lesnar is going to keep the option of going back to the UFC open instead of committing to WWE again.
  • In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it's noted that Shane McMahon has told friends he doesn't know how much longer he'll be on television in WWE.
  • With John Cena doing more and more outside of WWE, he may no longer be considered as the guy who can carry SmackDown and may stay on Raw.
  • Vince McMahon is "very upset" at Roman Reigns for failing a drug test, according to the Observer, and his doing so will likely play into the decision making on the WWE draft.
  • While Daniel Bryan is rumored, it's not confirmed that he will be the General Manager of SmackDown and it could be someone else.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
