Last night’s debut of WWE Network’s Cruiserweight Classic was a success. Talents from the field of 32 (and several alternates) were utilized at the NXT taping at Full Sail, and Triple H’s partner Gabe Sapolosky is showing off a number of wrestlers from the tournament with a series of spotlight matches on his EVOLVE cards this weekend.
Sounds like a good time to go ahead and tape some more episodes of the series which will run on Wednesday nights at 9PM into the Fall.
The last Full Sail Live taping covered the sixteen first round matches, which should fill out the first four episodes up to August 3. The action filmed tonight (July 14) will presumably be second round bouts.
We’ll update results here as they come in!
