Rumor Roundup (July 13, 2016): Brock Lesnar UFC 200 pay, SmackDown General Manager, WWE title change, more!

Joshua Dahl-USA TODAY Sports

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Brock Lesnar will likely make up to $8 million for his fight against Mark Hunt at UFC 200.
  • Daniel Bryan is rumored to be the person WWE will announce as the General Manager of SmackDown on Raw next week.
  • WWE is all in on promoting SmackDown's move to Tuesday and the WWE draft. That could include creating interest in the form of Dean Ambrose losing the WWE championship to Seth Rollins on Raw next week.
  • Although he caused a bit of a stir on social media, there's nothing to the idea of Eric Bischoff returning to WWE.
  • PW Insider reported that Tommy Dreamer was backstage at the SmackDown taping last night. It could mean he will be working with WWE in the future.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
