Paul Heyman offers Will Ospreay an EVOLVE contract

British aerialist Will Ospreay is the hottest free agent in all of pro wrestling - so much so that the fact he’s not a free agent isn’t stopping people from trying to sign him!

He is in fact inked to a deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling, the company where he and another heavily pursued talent, Ricochet, put on one of the year’s most talked about matches. Ospreay’s arrangement with them allows him to perform in a few select independent promotions like Revolution Pro in his home country.

Rev Pro will host a grudge match against Vader, which sprung out of the legendary big man’s criticism of Ospreay’s bout with Ricochet in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament.

The 23 year old was a guest at Paul Heyman’s one-man show in London on Tuesday, and in a surprise angle, was presented with a contract to work in EVOLVE.

Heyman made the offer on behalf of his old business partner Gabe Sapolosky, who’s in charge of talent and creative for the promotion. Gabe, and EVOLVE, are also aligned with WWE Developmental (and Heyman, of course, is contracted talent for the sports entertainment corporation) - giving the deal the feel of a first step toward Ospreay signing with Triple H & company as soon as possible.

During his presentation (which you see below), Heyman specified that signing this contract would not prohibit Will from honoring his New Japan deal, or working with Rev Pro or Pro Wrestling Guerrilla in the States.
