Vince McMahon put his promoter hat on and called Brock Lesnar “the most formidable combat athlete in history” after “The Beast” beat Mark Hunt in his MMA return at UFC 200 this past Sat., July 9, 2016, in Paradise, Nevada. While that may or may not be the case, he is, at the very least, a top 10 ranked heavyweight in the UFC.
That’s right, folks, the official UFC rankings were updated on July 11 and an active WWE star is on the list:

Lesnar has been non-committal on a possible return to the Octagon, but Hunt has already asked for a rematch and other higher ranked heavyweights, like Junior dos Santos, also want a piece of Brock. First, he has to deal with Randy Orton at SummerSlam.
After that? Who knows.
Either way, 2016 continues to be one of the craziest years in pro wrestling history.
