Roderick Strong set to return at Evolve 64 against Matt Riddle

In the WWN Alerts we discussed earlier this week, officials teased that someone was coming back to Evolve and now we know exactly who that is-- none other than recently freed from his Ring of Honor obligations and rumored to be on his way to NXT Roderick Strong! He's got a hell of a matchup lined up for his return as well, as he's going to be facing down pro wrestling's fastest rising star, Matt Riddle on July 16th at Evolve 64 in Queens, New York.

Excitement doesn't cover it, folks, I'm hyped beyond belief for this one. Been waiting for it since the first whiff of Roddy leaving ROH made its way out, it's gonna be incredible.

Also added to the upcoming cards are another WWE Cruiserweight Classic Spotlight Match between Zack Sabre, Jr. and Tony Nese, as well as Matt Riddle vs. Marty Scurll, both on July 17th at Evolve 65 in Melrose, Massachusetts.

But Roddy's not done, either! He's hit the ground running, returning to North Carolina's Premier Wrestling Xperience on July 24th. No matchup at press time, but those dudes know how to put a dream match or two together.
