Lucha El Rey on YouTube

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of Lucha Underground in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on El Rey Network.

Geno (actually, this week it's Kyle) will be keeping you up on of all the happenings in Boyle Heights here while the show airs. Kyle Decker will also bring you a recurring reactions post every week after the show. In addition to a way for folks to keep up, this space is for you to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the hottest new concept to hit pro wrestling in ages - during its initial broadcast!

El Rey is available via the cable and satellite providers list on their webpage here. If one of those is your hook-up and you can't find the channel on your box, reach out to them and ask for it. If you don't see your provider listed or you've cut the cord, you can find El Rey on the Sling streaming subscription service here and here. Or you can order the episodes on iTunes here.

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcast, but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.

ANOTHER NOTE: Do not post links to pirate streams or other unlicensed means of watching the show. We all wish it was easier to get El Rey, and trust them when they tell us they're working on it. In the meantime, keep it legal while you're hanging at cSs.

Alright, folks, let's Lucha!

Black Lotus confronts Dario Cueto, questioning whether he is lying other about who killed her parents. He assures that it was El Dragon Azteca and even more so, at Ultima Lucha, Black Lotus will face the current Dragon Azteca and if she wins, she gets to take his mask.

Marty the Moth vs. Killshot

This match ends in immediate count out as the guys just brawled outside the entire time. After the match, both men continue to brawl. Killshot lands an apron kick and takes his dog tags back, but Marty hits him with a German Suplex and takes the tags back. Killshot tries to get them back, but Marty is able to escape with them.

Mr. Cisco is in a holding room at the precinct. Joey Ryan and Cortez Castro are there to interrogate him with their boss. They ask him to wear a wire and go back into the Temple to get info on Cueto. He asks what they are looking to get him on. She tells him drugs, murder, but most importantly, she thinks Dario is the "lynch pin to the end of days." She asks if he wants to help as the scene ends.

PJ Black & Jack Evans vs. Drago & Aerostar in a Nunchucks match!

There are four pairs of nunchucks around the ring that often need some team work to reach. After some fighting in the ring, this fight spreads around the temple fighting to get the chucks. Both teams claim a pair and each team takes some nunchuck shots. Since this match is all over the Temple, of course some one is going to jump off the top of Dario's office and this time it was Aerostar on top of PJ and Jack.

Drago then takes Jack Evans into the ring, unloads with the chucks onto him, sprays some mist in his face, and pins him.

Prince Puma, Texano, Sexy Star, Son of Havoc, Rey Mysterio Jr, & Mack vs. Fenix, Ivelisse, King Cuerno, Taya, Johnny Mundo, & Chavo Guerrero

The winning team will face each other next week. The winner of that match will get a Lucha Underground title match at Ultima Lucha II.

Pentagon is here! He wheels out and tells Chavo he was the only one who supported him and thanks him for it. He stands up and then tells Chavo he's going to destroy him! And takes him out outside ringside and breaks Chavo's arm!

Dario and Black Lotus exit his office. Dario says that since Chavo caught a "bad break," there's an opening for Pentagon Jr, who gets put in the match to replace Chavo.

There were some fun match ups in this match, including Ivelisse/Son of Havoc, Mysterio/Cuerno, & Mack/Pentagon. In typical LU fashion, the match gets nuts. Eventually men take turns jumping over the ropes onto a sea of bodies on the outside. Johnny tries it but gets hit with a kick instead. This leads to a 619 from Rey, who sends Puma to the top rope for his 630. However, Johnny fights Rey off, hits the Spanish Fly  on Puma from the top, and picks up the win.

Johnny Mundo, Fenix, King Cuerno, Taya, & Pentagon Jr win the match

In King Cuerno's den, Catrina resurrects Mil Muerte's from the glass casing!

That's the show, folks!
