A Shield reunion on Raw next week (kind of)

In a rare move, WWE decided to use some time on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw to promote a segment scheduled for next week's episode of Monday Night Raw. And it's a big one.

Indeed, each member of The Shield will again be in the same ring at the same time for the return of The Ambrose Asylum, the short lived talk show hosted by none other than Dean Ambrose. His guests, of course, will be WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and the man who will challenge him for that title at Money in the Bank on June 19 in Paradise, Nevada, Seth Rollins.

WWE didn't even bother to have either man show up on Raw this week, instead electing to air video packages to promote their upcoming match. That may have been a smart play, considering the game of chicken they booked the week before.

A Shield reunion of sorts sounds much more compelling for the go home episode of Raw just six days away from what should be one of the better matches we see in WWE this year.
