Turns out Teddy Long's visit to Raw - which we learned was made possible by bribing the apparently criminally underpaid security staff in Oklahoma City with crumpled up singles he keeps in his oversized three-piece suit - wasn't a total waste.
No, Stephanie McMahon didn't welcome him back, or restore him to power atop the new live broadcast of SmackDown. But she did steal his idea for a Fatal 4Way tag title match at Money in the Bank.
#TeddyLong still got that tag team magic!!!!! #Raw https://t.co/GPXQP9xg5T

Looks like The New Day will be trying to keep their record-setting (and potentially breaking) title run alive with the odds stacked against them at the next pay-per-view (PPV). They'll have to defend against Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, Enzo Amore & Big Cass and The Vaudevillains.
Stay tuned to see if Long really left like McMahon asked him to - we may get an Undertaker match out of this yet.
