Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Apparently Brock Lesnar has been training for his upcoming UFC 200 fight since as early as April. There's been some word that the deal between UFC, WWE, and Brock Lesnar was being worked on as far back as WrestleMania 32.
  • Part of the deal for Lesnar to return may be for UFC to promote SummerSlam on one of its major pay-per-view events.
  • CM Punk's UFC debut is expected for late summer or early fall, with a reality show airing to promote it.
  • The Observer notes that Brandi Rhodes (who worked as Eden in WWE) won't be working alongside Cody Rhodes on the independent scene on a consistent basis, but instead focusing on outside endeavors.
