The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported this week that Roman Reigns was ordered by WWE to apologize to his fellow wrestlers in the locker room after he was suspended for 30 days for a Wellness Policy violation. Considering the company and the fact that most fans could totally buy that he would be told to do so, the report wasn’t really called into question.
Until now.
Indeed, Wrestle Zone is now reporting it has multiple sources claiming the apology never happened. According to the report, the locker room didn’t even find out about the suspension until the June 21 SmackDown taping, and Reigns had gone home following Raw the previous night.
An apology did happen, as Reigns tweeted one out shortly after his suspension was announced, but this report indicates it didn’t happen in front of the locker room as the original report from the Observer states.
Who do you believe?
