All it takes is one attack.
John Cena returned to WWE on this past Monday night's episode of Raw in Green Bay and was confronted by AJ Styles, who played nice initially but quickly revealed he's in cahoots with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. The three put a beating on Cena before doing the same to The New Day on SmackDown.
The Club is alive and well.
Cena will get his first chance to get revenge at the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for Sun., June 19, 2016, at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
WWE is calling it a historical battle.
Here's the updated Money in the Bank match card:
- Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins (WWE world heavyweight championship)
- John Cena vs. AJ Styles
- Money in the Bank ladder match (Owens vs. Cesaro vs. Ambrose vs. Jericho vs. Zayn vs. Del Rio)
