WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • As discussed here, the preliminary idea for the WWE brand split is for Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins to lead Raw while John Cena and AJ Styles lead SmackDown, according to the Observer.
  • It's also apparently still in the plans for there to be two world titles, so it's possible a Cena vs. Styles match will introduce the SmackDown championship.
  • The Money in the Bank ladder match may only include six participants instead of the previously announced seven. Some advertising has changed, but that could change again.
  • The Observer notes WWE may also split the referee crew once they do the brand extension.
  • American Alpha might be called up to the WWE main roster as soon as next month.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
