WWE has made some changes to its upcoming tour of Japan, as revealed on the company website. In addition to the obvious, that Roman Reigns, who is serving a 30 day suspension for a Wellness Policy violation, is off the tour (he’s been replaced by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose), Bray Wyatt is now off the tour.
At last check just over a month ago, Wyatt was penciled in to wrestle Shinsuke Nakamura in what hardcore fans were salivating over as a dream match. So much for that.
While Ambrose is replacing Reigns, no replacement has been announced for Wyatt nor was there a reason given for his missing the tour, which spans two shows on July 1 and July 2 in Tokyo.
We’ll just have to continue waiting for Nakamura to finish up his run in NXT — whenever that may be — to get to all the juicy match-ups awaiting him on the WWE main roster.
