Rumors for the Day:

• The Observer notes the WWE pay-per-view event schedule going around for the remainder of 2016 is legitimate, so we're getting 9 more Network specials this year.

• There's still word that Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will be the top two stars on Raw and John Cena and AJ Styles will be the top two stars on SmackDown after the brand split.

• Speaking of AJ Styles, he was only supposed to work the mid-card in WWE but he was so popular when he came in, they pushed him to the main event level.

• Finn Balor, American Alpha, Austin Aries, and Nia Jax are all expected call ups to the WWE roster here shortly.

• According to PW Insider, WWE has had contact with Cody Rhodes about signing a Legend's deal of some sort, possibly for merchandise purposes.
