TNA Impact Ratings (June 21, 2016): Numbers are up from last week but still trending downward

TNA Wrestling YouTube

TNA Impact ratings are in this week and they pulled in 304K viewers for last night’s show. Compared to last week’s first run, it’s up 100K viewers, but that’s because last week’s first run had technical difficulties at Pop TV. The show didn’t end up airing until almost 11 pm. However if you compare it with the total of last Tuesday and the encore presentation last Wednesday, which pulled in 117K, it’s down from 327K last week overall.

Either way you slice it, this is a significant drop from where their overall average the last month. The last time they were this low was over a month ago on May 10 when they slipped below the 300K mark at 280K.

It’s very possible that after last week’s snafu, they lost people who decided to check Impact out post Slammiversary only to find a loop of PopTV commercials. They have already advertised a triple threat main event for next week between EC3, Drew Galloway, and Bobby Lashley for the TNA title. Outside the Hardy brothers, these are their biggest stars. Hopefully for TNA, this match will garner interest and entice more people to tune in.

The numbers the last month:

  • June 14: 210,000 (327,000 if including encore numbers)
  • June 7: 326,000
  • May 31: 346,000
  • May 24: 359,000

You can read a recap of last night’s show here.
