Last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw ran up against a big NBA Playoff game and the show dipped below 3 million viewers. Considering this week’s episode came just one night after the Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV), there was always going to be a major bounce back.
Sure enough, the show was up to 3.46 million viewers, a huge jump from last week’s 2.97 million.
The hourly shows a sustained interest all throughout:
Hour one: 3.42 million
Hour two: 3.56 million
Hour three: 3.42 million
That’s some good news for WWE during a time when it was just announced that Roman Reigns has been suspended for 30 days for a Wellness Policy violation.
Considering this came after a relatively big PPV, it may be best to wait for next week to get a better idea on how the audience is feeling about the product, especially now that WWE has a new world heavyweight champion in Dean Ambrose.
