While Los Angeles, California has lost out on hosting SummerSlam to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the city and its occupants can feel good about the fact that an even bigger show is coming next year.
Indeed, it was announced at the house show at the Staples Center last night that the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) will take place in the building on Jan. 22, 2017.
A pre-sale on tickets is set for Aug. 28 with the code “LA2017” with tickets available to the general public on Nov. 19, according to PW Insider.
This will be a historic Royal Rumble, the 30th in history, and with the show being held in LA you can surely expect a big celebrity presence. Let the speculation begin on what celebrity has the best chance of being a surprise entrant in the Rumble match.
Any Cagesiders planning on attending?
