Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- Bray Wyatt has been at the WWE television tapings in recent weeks but the company is apparently waiting until Money in the Bank passes before bringing him back.
- PW Insider notes that Randy Orton hasn't been cleared to return yet but that could happen at any time. However, there's "no timetable as of today."
- WWE's announcement of a deal in China is just step one in a larger plan for a big promotional push there in the coming years.
- Kota Ibushi is expected to be booked strong in the Cruiserweight Classic and then be signed to a deal by WWE, according to the Observer.
