Rumor Roundup (June 17, 2016): Bray Wyatt return, Randy Orton status, WWE in China, Kota Ibushi, more!

New, 114 comments

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Bray Wyatt has been at the WWE television tapings in recent weeks but the company is apparently waiting until Money in the Bank passes before bringing him back.
  • PW Insider notes that Randy Orton hasn't been cleared to return yet but that could happen at any time. However, there's "no timetable as of today."
  • WWE's announcement of a deal in China is just step one in a larger plan for a big promotional push there in the coming years.
  • Kota Ibushi is expected to be booked strong in the Cruiserweight Classic and then be signed to a deal by WWE, according to the Observer.
  • WWE still wants Will Ospreay and the hope is they will be able to sign him in the future, sooner rather than later.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
