Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of Lucha Underground in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on El Rey Network. This space is for you to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the hottest new concept to hit pro wrestling in ages - during its initial broadcast!

El Rey is available via the cable and satellite providers list on their webpage here. If one of those is your hook-up and you can't find the channel on your box, reach out to them and ask for it. If you don't see your provider listed or you've cut the cord, you can find El Rey on the Sling streaming subscription service here and here. Or you can order the episodes on iTunes here.

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcast, but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.

ANOTHER NOTE: Do not post links to pirate streams or other unlicensed means of watching the show. We all wish it was easier to get El Rey, and trust them when they tell us they're working on it. In the meantime, keep it legal while you're hanging at cSs.

Wow, the show opens with Six to Survive? I figured that'd be the main event. It's Johnny Mundo vs. King Cuerno vs. Ivelisse vs. Pentagon Jr. vs. Taya vs. Fenix. Winner gets Matanza at Ultima Lucha II. This is an elimination match.

The match starts with different people fighting each other at different points. Fenix and Cuerno are in the ring with the Hunter about to hit Thrill of the Hunt when... HERE COMES MIL MUERTES! AND HE'S BEATING THE HELL OUT OF CUERNO! (And his eyes are totally red.)

Johnny takes advantage to hit the End of the World and pins King Cuerno.

In the ring, Fenix won't hit Ivelisse. So obviously, she makes him pay for that. Smarten up, Fenix

Ivelisse continues to kick some ass. She delivers a kick to the head to Pentagon, but then finds herself facing the double team of Johnny and Taya. She's able to side step Johnny, who flies out of this ring, and this becomes a one on one between Ivelisse and Taya. That fight ends with Taya hitting a Northern Lights Suplex, rolling over, and stomping Ivelisse. This is enough for the pin.

Pentagon hits a nasty Shattered Dreams kick to Taya in the ring. That sounded rough. Then he follows her outside and keeps kicking her in the arse. Meanwhile, Johnny is controlling Fenix.

Johnny goes one on one with Pentagon for awhile in a nice stare down and trading blows. But then it breaks down with all four people getting this stuff in. But then Johnny and Taya are able to get control on the other two by working as a team.

Fenix and Pentago are able to fight back and Pentagon hits Taya for the elimination.

Pentagon eiminates Taya

All three guys go back and forth chopping each other in the ring. It breaks down and Pentagon slides out, leaving Mundo and Fenix to go at it. While they do, Fenix flips Johnny the bird. Everyone hates Johnny.

This becomes a fight outside between Fenix and Pentagon Jr outside. Johnny finally inserts himself and for awhile he owns both of the fellow competitors. It takes a double team of Pentagon and Fenix to cover Johnny to eliminate him.

Pentagon & Fenix eliminates Johnny Mundo

These two go back and forth with some sweet submission spots. It then turns into your classic Lucha Underground back and forth exciting lucha match.

Finally, Pentagon Jr hits a jumping piledriver and follows it up with a package piledriver to win the Six to Survive match.

Pentagon Jr pins Fenix to become #1 Contender

Dario and Matanza Cueto walk out from on top of the stands to stare down at Pentagon. Pentagon grabs a mic and says he's going break all the bones in Matanza's body.. and Dario's.

That's the show. First show that I remember with no backstage segment.
