The women's championship will not be defended at the upcoming WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for this Sun., June 19, 2016, at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Instead, Charlotte will participate in a tag team match.
Indeed, WWE announced today that the champ will team up with Dana Brooke to take on Natalya and Becky Lynch.
Nattie has been chasing the title for a couple months now but has run into various obstacles, the latest of which was Brooke when she aligned herself with Charlotte after breaking away from an injured Emma. Becky showed up to even the odds and the two sides have been battling with each other ever since.
Now it’s time for the match.
