Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet noted on his Twitter that a "solid source" said the WWE draft is happening on the July 18 episode of Monday Night Raw in Providence but that "could easily change."
  • A story going around has Jerry Lawler telling fans at an event recently that WWE will hold two Network special events each month after the brand split, one for Raw and SmackDown, except for on months with events like WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam.
  • Speaking of SummerSlam, there's some talk that it could be a four-and-a-half hour event this year.
  • It's expected that Bobby Roode is going to be working with NXT on a regular basis moving forward. He may be a featured star after there are call ups for the brand split.
  • According to PW Insider, Billy Corgan is going to be a new minority owner of TNA.
