Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • According to PW Insider, Daniel Bryan was backstage at the NXT TV tapings this week. No word on why but WWE had offered Bryan various positions within the company before and after his retirement.
  • There are no plans for Teddy Long moving forward, according to PW Insider.
  • The reason Kalisto missed a couple weeks is due to an injury of some sort, according to the Observer, but he's back already.
  • On that note, The Usos were apparently slotted for the Fatal 4-Way tag team match at Money in the Bank in original plans but that was changed, possibly due to injury.
  • The Observer is saying WWE is aggressively signing talent for NXT and said talent are being told not to say anything about it.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
