Where?
The Download Festival at Donington Park, Leicestershire, England.
What Happened?
Download Festival
- Hugo Knox def. Sawyer Fulton via pinfall following a split-legged moonsault
- Nikki Glencross def. Peyton Royce via pinfall following a swinging fisherman’s suplex
- Baron Corbin def. Alexander Wolfe & Angelo Dawkins (End of Days on Wolfe)
What caught our eye?
Like Nikki, it was former British footballer Hugo Knox (Stuart Tomlinson)’s first time back home - not only as a WWE performer, but as a pro wrestler period:

His match didn’t get great marks, but nice moment nonetheless.
The Lone Wolf’s fellow wrestlers may not like him, but the fans at Download were PUMPED to see Corbin.

The crowd chanted for tables in the main, so Dawkins went backstage and got one while the other two guys slowed it down in the ring. It didn’t factor in the finish, but Baron put Wolfe through it end the quick show in England.
What's next?
Day 2 at Download. Not sure how many matches they’ll get, but they told the crowd to expect big names like Shinsuke Nakamura, Finn Bálor and Samoa Joe during today’s festivities.
