Swerved returns to WWE Network on June 6 after Raw

A show that didn't look like it would get a second season returns next Monday on WWE Network. And you won't have to wait to see all nine episodes, as Swerved will be the first series in the history of the streaming service to drop a whole season at once, Netflix-style.

No word on why the show is being released that way, but maybe it's to address the annoyance some wrestlers felt about having to worry about being pranked while working or travelling. The above trailer uses the performers fear and anxiety to sell the second season.

Here's WWE's press release:

SWERVED SEASON 2 PREMIERES JUNE 6 ON WWE® NETWORK AFTER MONDAY NIGHT RAW

WWE’s original series, Swerved Season 2, will premiere all nine half hour long episodes on-demand on the award-winning WWE Network on June 6, immediately following Monday Night Raw, which airs on USA Network.

This is the first time WWE Network will do a binge release for a show on-demand.

Swerved, directed by Jeff Tremaine (Jackass, Bad Grandpa), is a half-hour series that combines the worlds of comedy and sports entertainment as WWE Superstars play hilarious pranks on the WWE Universe. Descriptions of all nine Swerved Season 2 episodes are here: http://www.wwe.com/swerved-season-2-episode-details

Who's pulling an all-nighter next Monday to binge Swerved?
