Geno will be keeping you up on of all the happenings in Boyle Heights here while the show airs. Kyle Decker will also bring you a recurring reactions post every week after the show. In addition to a way for folks to keep up, this space is for you to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the hottest new concept to hit pro wrestling in ages - during its initial broadcast!

El Rey is available via the cable and satellite providers list on their webpage here. If one of those is your hook-up and you can't find the channel on your box, reach out to them and ask for it. If you don't see your provider listed or you've cut the cord, you can find El Rey on the Sling streaming subscription service here and fubo.tv here. Or you can order the episodes on iTunes here.

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcast, but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.

ANOTHER NOTE: Do not post links to pirate streams or other unlicensed means of watching the show. We all wish it was easier to get El Rey, and trust them when they tell us they're working on it. In the meantime, keep it legal while you're hanging at cSs.

LU S2E19 LIVE BLOG

Geno here.

Let us do this.

They opened with a match right away.

Son of Havoc vs. Daga

They had a decent match. Daga got plenty of offense in but Havoc won with the moonsault. During the match, Kobra Moon came out and crept around the ring. After Daga lost, she got in and started creeping him out.

Daga pushed Moon off and left.

Prince Puma & Rey Mysterio & Dragon Azteca vs. Johnny Mundo & Jack Evans & PJ Black

This was a trios title match.

The bad guys were wearing ridiculous LU bandanas and beating up Mysterio to start. This set up the hot tag to Puma, who got in and cleaned house. As is usually the case with matches like this involving these wrestlers, they did a bunch of dives to the outside.

Puma did his thing until tagging out to Dragon Azteca, who got in just as Evans brought Mundo back int the fold. He ran wild but only got a two count on Mundo after a tornado DDT. They did a spot where Puma kicked Mundo in the nuts and the referee had no choice but to call for the disqualification.

Mundo & Evans & Black def. Puma & Mysterio & Azteca

Mysterio and Azteca were trying to calm Puma down after the match. He superkicked Taya and was trying to go after the others but was held back.

Matanza vs. Cage

This was for the Lucha Underground championship, as Cage was cashing in his Gift of the God's championship.

This was a brutal match, with both guys beating each other up in the best way. That included an early brawl to the outside with a sick German suplex. The referee let it ride for a while before they went back into the ring and continued their back-and-forth battle. This may have been the most offense anyone has gotten in on Matanza since he showed up.

At one point, Cage no sold a German suplex before delivering one of his own. He also did an amazing deadlift suplex followed up by an elbow drop and that only got two. Dario was freaking out pacing around the ring while Cage was getting increasingly dejected at his inability to put the Monster away. An Alabama Slam followed by a standing moonsault couldn't get the pin either.

Nothing would.

The entire match was basically Cage beating up Matanza, then the Monster hitting the Wrath of the Gods at the end and getting the pin.

And still.
