WWE NXT live results (June 1, 2016): TakeOver: The End... go home show

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network.

Check out our Wednesday morning preview post to get caught up on what's been happening, and what we expect this week.

We'll post match results here, and we will also have our regular reactions post later. In the meantime, and most importantly, this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the best show WWE produces on a weekly basis - during its initial broadcast!

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcasts (including here), but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.

Enjoy the show!

- The Revival open in the ring cutting a promo about their TakeOver rematch with American Alpha. They're interrupted by Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano. The former champs try to dismiss the "bingo hall" boys, but the Cruiserweight Classic entrants bring up Gable & Jordan's win in Dallas and taunt them back to the ring. Ciampa & Gargano drop kick Dash & Dawson - and we have a match tonight!

- Cathy Kelley asks Shinsuke Nakamura what he thinks about his upcoming match with Austin Aries, and Swagsuke says he thinks Aries will "bow down to the King of Strong Style".

- Tye Dillinger def. Buddy Murphy via pinfall following a Perfect Ten

- Corey Graves interviews Samoa Joe & Finn Bálor, displayin how personal their upcoming steel cage match at TakeOver is. Joe claims to still feel betrayed that Finn didn't insist on a title shot for him after the Dusty Classic; Bálor claims Joe stabbed him in the back. This was incredible, look for video ASAP.

- Austin Aries def. Elias Samson via submission with Last Chancery; after the match, Aries gets a mic and says he's going to make sure the spotlight shines on him after his match with Nakamura TakeOver

- Andrade "Cien" Almas teaser

- Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano def. The Revival via pinfall with a small package roll through after taking a Superplex. Dash & Dawson beat them down afterwards, until Chad Gable & Jason Jordan run in for the save and set of a brawl.

- Asuka & Nia Jax contract signing. Nia says she broke Bayley and will beat the champ because Asuka's never faced anyone like her. The champ says Nia talks too much, and should be scared of her. They step to one another, and Asuka unleashes strikes, but Jax catches a kick and powerbombs her. She stands over the Empress of Tomorrow as the show closes.
