They don't want none, but Smarks do!

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - WWE's Payback pay-per-view (PPV), the May 2 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, New Japan's Wrestling Dontaku, Tuesday's TNA ImpactWednesday's Lucha Underground, WWE NXT and ROH TV,  Thursday's SmackDown, EVOLVE 60 & 61 and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from May 1 - 7, 2016.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Uh, Mr. Styles sir, I'm worried you may be running away with the Standings already

Yep.

  • The best "will they or won't they?" tension this side of a romcom is boosting three guys who used to be in some Japanese club (or something) to new heights.
  • I'm assuming it was the Lunatic Fringe's sassy promo before he got put in the Walls on the announce table which impressed y'all.
  • The F'n Machine wowed in a structure named after him, and the new guy on Lucha Underground's latest Trios champs got high marks.
  • A WWE guy some say has no charisma got knotted up at 7 with another who's all that, and a bag of chips (How u doin?).
  • The Road to Wrestling Dontaku main event made an impression on some NJPW World subscribers.

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

When he's only one point short of the most points anyone could achieve through four weeks, I don't need Cain A. Knight to tell me the Phenomenal One's off to a, well, phenomenal start.
