Jay Lethal to throw out first pitch for White Sox

Ring of Honor is pulling out all the stops for their pay-per-view in Chicago this Sunday.

On Sunday, Jay Lethal will defend his Ring of Honor World Championship in Chicago at the Global Wars pay-per-view against hometown boy and returning ROH hero Colt Cabana. In advance of that pay-per-view, ROH will have one of their highest-profile public appearances in company history, as Lethal will throw out the first pitch at Friday's White Sox game.

From the company's press release:

Ring of Honor Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Jay Lethal will throw out the ceremonial first pitch Friday, May 6, prior to the American League Central Division leading Chicago White Sox hosting the Minnesota Twins at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago. Lethal will be live Tweeting from the game.

"We are so proud to be a part of Chicago White Sox baseball. Chicago has always been a great Ring of Honor city and now this honor. We are so appreciative to our combined legions of fans," said Joe Koff, Chief Operating Officer of Ring of Honor Wrestling.

A huge moment for Lethal and for Ring of Honor, which just celebrated its 14th anniversary.
