New, 166 comments

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles program is expected to last up to the Money in the Bank event.
  • PW Insider notes that Sheamus, Dean Ambrose, Big Show, and Alberto Del Rio were all missing from SmackDown this week because they were in Los Angeles doing something that may be related to a video game. Seth Rollins may have also been there.
  • According to Court Bauer, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Minneapolis are all in the running to host WrestleMania 34.
  • Rich Brennan's wife posted this to Twitter on Tom Phillips shortly after Brennan was released (sic): "making it in WWE has less to do with talent than who you're willing to bury on your way to the top. Which is Tom's speciality." Pro Wrestling Sheet reported Brennan was blindsided by the release.
  • According to PW Insider, we can expect TNA to announce some new talent signings/re-signings in the coming days.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
