Angélico injured at Lucha Underground Season 3 tapings

The hits keep coming for the former trios champions.

On April 24, Suplex Apparel posted the following blog regarding one of their athletes, Angélico, suffering an injury during a recent Lucha Underground Season 3 taping:

Angélico suffered an injury that resulted in him visiting the hospital whilst filming for Lucha Underground.
The injury suffered a discolated elbow and a fractured radius cup. SPLX's latest athlete is set to miss 2
months of action.

We asked SPLX's physiotherapist Iestyn Rees his thoughts on the situation
"Unfortunately whilst competing in a match, Angélico suffered a Fracture-Dislocation of the Left elbow.
The injury is in the early stages of healing and Angélico will be working closely with myself to
rehabilitate his elbow and reduce his recovery time to the shortest possible period."

We wish Angélico a speedy recovery.

Angélico's injury comes not long after his trios teammate, Ivelisse, suffered her second severe ankle injury at a Lucha Underground taping. It also may have happened at the same set of tapings that Matanza cut his arm open, resulting in a main event match stoppage.

It appears rampant pro wrestling injuries aren't just limited to WWE these days.
