Is it ever acceptable to put ketchup on a hot dog?
ABYSS: Absolutely! Are you kidding me? Ketchup's as American as hot dogs and apple pie. Definitely. Mustard, too. Slap some mustard and relish on there.
BILLY GUNN: Oh yeah. You put everything on a hot dog, just to make it taste better. [laughs] Everything. Ketchup, mustard, relish, onions. You put it all on there because it makes it better.
CHUCK TAYLOR: Of course. Ketchup and mustard. That's what you put on a hot dog. That's it. Ketchup and mustard. If you put [sauerkraut] on a hot dog, you're an animal.
COLT CABANA: No! Unacceptable. And you know what? I did take some Chipotle ketchup from Walemania last night with [Jim Ross], so I will be trying that, but I will not put it on a hot dog. That's illegal. I think you can get arrested for that.
MUHAMMAD HASSAN: As long as there's mustard on it, too.
SHAWN DAIVARI: Yeah, always. That's the only time a hot dog tastes good. No one enjoys the hot dog. Those are disgusting. It's the condiments you put on top of it that make the meal. If I put anything on a hot dog, it's just loads and loads and loads of ketchup. That's all I want to taste. I eat just for sustenance, so I don't even enjoy the hot dog, really.
EDDIE EDWARDS: Yes. Of course. It's acceptable in my book to put ketchup on anything. I don't care. I used to put it on steak and my grandfather would be pissed at me. But it's okay. I support that, to this day.
RODERICK STRONG: Always. I do. Ketchup, mustard, relish, onions. That's me.
EXCALIBUR: If you're an animal. Actually, no. If you're a monster. I take that back. Brown mustard, onions. The classics. If I'm in Chicago, peppers, pickle, that sort of thing. If I'm in Detroit, chili, onions. White onions. But never ketchup.
MATT STRIKER: Yes. Mustard, though, would be better. I don't relish in condiments.
CHARLIE HAAS: Yeah.
KENNY KING: No, man. Ketchup, sauerkraut and onions. Ketchup's disgusting. As a kid, I used to put ketchup on eggs. Now, I don't really like ketchup on anything.
HERNANDEZ: No. It's acceptable unless you're a man. If you're a man, it's never acceptable. If you put ketchup on a hot dog and you're a man, your man card gets taken away right there. Mustard or nothing.
LANCE ARCHER (fka Lance Hoyt): Absolutely. But I prefer barbecue sauce. I'm Texan.
HEIDI LOVELACE: No. Absolutely not. I don't eat anything on my hot dogs. I don't like ketchup, mustard, any of that stuff. Plain. Hot dogs. All day. So it's not acceptable to put anything on hot dogs. I love this conversation.
JINDER MAHAL: Oh yeah, absolutely. Of course.
CATRINA: Uh, it's not okay to NOT put ketchup on a hot dog. You have to put everything on it. And like potato chips. I used to go to this place called Yesterdogs in Michigan. Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I grew up. Yesterdogs is famous. And I would throw down. It's called Yesterdogs. They'd have all these pictures of celebrities eating hot dogs, and it's open 24 hours. It's in Grand Rapids. I'd have too many tequila shots -- [Yesterdogs] is way better than Pink's -- and I'd get three loaded dogs. Loaded. So it's everything. Cheese, relish, mustard, ketchup. Ketchup. Lots of ketchup, guys. And salt and then potato chips.
MELISSA SANTOS: Yeah, that's normal. What kind of a question is that? I don't like sauerkraut, I'd rather have ketchup. Or a naked dog. Just have it plain. Sometimes you've just got to keep it simple. Just a wiener in a bun.
BRIAN MYERS (fka Curt Hawkins): No. Not for me, no. Straight mustard and sauerkraut guy.
HARRY SMITH JR: Yeah, sure, why not.
SONJAY DUTT: Ah, yeah. I don't see why -- I've heard people say that it's not, but I don't see any issues with that. Matter of fact, I came up thinking that was the go-to condiment for a hot dog.
MATT SYDAL: Yeah. I think ketchup on a hot dog is like the only thing you should put on a hot dog.
ROCKSTAR SPUD: I think so. All the time. Do you guys not think so? You guys do mustard and ketchup, right? Ketchup's a big thing on a hot dog in England.
