Rumor Roundup (May 26, 2016): Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins, SummerSlam matches, Bray Wyatt return, WWE brand split, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins title program is expected to stretch out over a series of matches leading up to SummerSlam.
  • The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports the top of the SummerSlam card is already decided upon, with matches set for Roman Reigns and John Cena. Brock Lesnar will also have a match, but his opponent hasn't been set yet apparently.
  • It looks like Bray Wyatt will work heel when he makes his return.
  • The Observer is reporting WWE is aggressively going after as much talent as possible due to the brand split and needing to shore up talent in NXT for touring purposes.
  • The Observer also notes Vince McMahon is "really pumped about the new possibilities" with the brand split.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
