Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Though Seth Rollins is back and working a main event title program with Roman Reigns, it doesn't look like there are any plans for Reigns to lose the WWE world heavyweight championship any time soon.
  • Apparently WWE still has big plans for AJ Styles despite his losing to Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens over the past few days, according to the Observer.
  • There is more word going around that WWE is going to release another wrestler soon, and other cuts could still be coming.
  • New Day vs. Social Outcasts could be the next tag team title program but Enzo & Big Cass are in plans for SummerSlam.
  • Mickey Gall put on Instagram that he heard he's fighting CM Punk in "late summer" though no date is official just yet.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
