Rumors for the Day:
- There were tenative plans for Cody Rhodes to drop the Stardust character - something he said he requested in his statement on his WWE release - at WrestleMania 32 or the night after, but Vince McMahon pulled the plug on the angle.
- Look for John Cena to feud with Alberto Del Rio for a while after he comes back next Monday.
- Noelle Foley - and WWE Network cameras - have been spotted at New York Wrestling Connection (NYWC), meaning the promotion/academy that produced Zack Ryder and others will be featured on Holy Foley!
- Another Network show, Ride Along, reportedly just filmed an announcer episode with Michael Cole, JBL & Byron Saxton road-tripping from Newark to Baltimore this past Sunday.
- Some sources within WWE are maintaining that Lillian Garcia was on the first list of cuts from 'Black Friday', but that the employees responsible didn't know about the circumstances with her father. When those who had approved her leave found out she was set for release, they got her name removed to avoid bad PR.
