Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt may still be the plan for SummerSlam this year.
- PW Insider reports the goal with Stephanie McMahon's new book is to make her a bigger mainstream star and help position her as the heir apparent to Vince McMahon when he steps down.
- While many of the top stars in NXT at the moment are clearly ready for the main roster, the reason they haven't been called up is apparently because they're needed for touring purposes.
- The word is WWE is really high on both Big Cass and Dana Brooke.
- According to the Observer, Neville was originally in the plans for the Intercontinental title picture right now before his injury. He may go there once he returns.
