Rumor Roundup (April 4, 2016): Finn Balor on main roster, no more Stardust, Brock Lesnar title plans, more

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Kevin Owens interupted Finn Balor's Axxess Q & A on Saturday, prompting talk KO might be Finn's first feud on the main roster. The NXT champ is expected on Raw shortly - possibly even tonight.
  • Also at Axxess, Stardust told the crowd if he lost at WrestleMania, it might be Cody Rhodes we see on Raw. Insiders think that and the open tributes to his father this weekend are signs we've seen the last of Stardust.
  • WWE wants to get Brock Lesnar back in the WWE title picture soon, and a SummerSlam match with Roman Reigns is on the table.
  • Lesnar himself told the AP last week he was at his limit for appearances, so a championship run would either be similar to his last one or cost Vince McMahon more money.
  • Dutch media tycoon John de Mol is a WWE stakeholder, and according to the New York Post, he's made a standing offer to buy the company should Vince or the McMahon family ever decide to sell.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
